▎Pengantar Minyak Esensial

Eucalyptus Australia (Eucalyptus radiata), juga dikenal sebagai eukaliptus putih atau pohon kesepian, merupakan spesies pohon yang mewakili tumbuhan berkayu Australia. Biasanya merupakan pohon evergreen dengan tinggi 30m, keseluruhan pohon membentuk seperti piramida, kulit kayu berwarna abu-abu, dan daunnya relatif tipis. Efek sinergis yang dihasilkan memiliki nilai medis tertentu, seperti: α-pinene, limonene , α-terpineol, cis-piperol, geranyl alkohol, dll.

Eucalyptus memiliki kandungan 1,8-cineole yang tinggi dan digunakan secara komersial dalam produksi minyak atsiri di industri farmasi dan kosmetik.
