原料介紹｜丁香羅勒 (Basil Clocimum)

▎精油簡介

丁香羅勒為多年生亞灌木，高0.5-1m，直立，全株有香氣。莖四方形，葉對生；卵形或卵狀披針形，下方有腺點。輪繖花序頂生，花冠兩唇形，黃白色。葉屬溫性，用於調製義大利菜，混在蒜、番茄中味道獨特，增加口感。可用於香水或香皂增加特別香味。葉可驅趕蚊蟲、腸寄生蟲等作用。廣泛分佈於熱帶。中國南方有栽培。

丁香羅勒精油在常溫狀態下為淡黃色至紅褐色的液體；有類似丁香的香氣，味辛辣，而有麻脹感；露置空氣中或貯存日久，漸變棕色，質漸濃稠。
