▎精油簡介
大西洋雪松是原產於北非的巨大樹種，主要生長在北非亞特拉斯山脈和南歐庇裡牛斯山脈海拔1370至2200米的森林，耐寒、需充足的陽光，能長到超過33公尺，並可存活千年以上，為摩洛哥的國樹。
大西洋雪松為歷史悠久的樹種，在聖經中、木乃伊製作中都可以看到它的身影，承襲了祖先黎巴嫩雪鬆的特色，有著相類似的氣味及風貌，黎巴嫩雪鬆的木材用於建造巴比倫空中花園及所羅門聖殿，在古埃及時期使用其樹酯用以薰香、美容等作用，其木材用於建材，並萃取精油做為法老王的陪葬品，香氣綿延千年不衰。
由木材蒸餾而成的大西洋雪松精油，散發森林的氣息和木質香氣，使人感到放鬆和諧。

主要成分為大西洋酮，另外含有喜馬雪松烯、喜馬雪松醇。

▸ 大西洋雪松精油透過瓊脂圓盤擴散法測試，針對革蘭氏陽性菌，包含金黃色葡萄球菌(Staphylococcus aureus)、糞腸球菌(Enterococcus faecalis)、球形芽孢桿菌(Bacillus sphericus)、中間葡萄球菌( Staphylococcus intermedius)，以及革蘭氏陰性菌，包含大腸桿菌(Escherichia coli)、綠膿桿菌(Pseudomonas aeruginosa)、克雷伯氏肺炎菌(Klebsiella pneumoniae)，進行研究。
▸ 大西洋雪松精油應用於急性術後疼痛的病理生理學中。
