▎精油簡介
玫瑰草是一種可以長到將近10英尺高的草，生長在潮濕的熱帶或濕地。需要充足的陽光才能生長。玫瑰草精油一開始萃取自印度，有著細長的葉片，有如雜草般外觀卻因為能萃取近似玫瑰與天竺葵香氣，故有「印度天竺葵」的綽號，或「土耳其天竺葵」。在印度由於開花時節整座山都是紫色，因此以rhsaha或rosha具有紫色的意思稱呼。現在的玫瑰草精油則萃取自尼泊爾東部平原。收割後，將玫瑰草風乾再蒸餾至清亮淺黃色。
玫瑰草主要成分跟玫瑰主要成分一樣為犛牛兒醇（香葉醇），因此帶有接近玫瑰的花香。對於肌膚各方面保養皆有良好作用，很適合保養肌膚，有很好的保濕以及平衡油性肌膚的作用。

主要為犛牛兒醇(抗黴菌)，其他有沉香醇、橙花醇、乙酸犛牛兒酯、甲酸犛牛兒酯、異丁酸犛牛兒酯、己酸與辛酸犛牛兒酯、欖香脂醇，以及微量倍半萜烯、醛。
