▎精油簡介

胡椒薄荷(Mentha)源自拉丁文的思考mente。是一個種高30-100cm多年生草本植物,長地下莖和綠葉,會綻放白色或紫色花朵,精油翠自花與葉,薄荷有許多品種,芳療中常用的薄荷精油是具強烈薄荷腦氣味的胡椒薄荷,容易辨識。

▎成分解析

|主要成分:單萜醇

薄荷含多種成分,主成分薄荷醇(Menthol,又名薄荷腦),其他有薄荷酮(Menthone)、異薄荷酮(Isomenthone)、胡薄荷酮(Puleggone)、檸檬烯(Limonene)、乙酸薄荷酯(Menthyl acetate)、1.8-桉油醇(Cineole)、薄荷呋喃(Menthofuran)、ß-丁香油烴(ß-caryophyllene,又稱石竹烯)、大根老鸛草烯(Germacrene)、香豆素、含硫化合物等。

|成分1:薄荷醇(Menthol)

薄荷醇與樟腦、甲基水楊酸(Methyl salicylate)均可由皮膚吸收。在肝臟代謝與葡萄醣醛酸(glucuronic acid)結合之後,由膽汁與尿液排出。

|成分2:薄荷酮(Menthone)

|成分3:ß-丁香油烴(ß-caryophyllene)

又稱石竹烯、老鸛草烯,強力抗病毒。將薄荷油腹腔注射於小鼠,結果小鼠活動力顯著提高,後續研究發現桉油醇、薄荷酮、異薄荷酮、薄荷醇、(R)-(+)-胡薄荷酮、乙酸薄荷酯和石竹烯(caryophyllene)這些薄荷油所含的成分都能明顯增加小鼠活力。

▸ 胡椒薄荷精油(PO),對於IBS(大腸激躁症)的疼痛和整體症狀是有相關研究。


▸ Tayarani-Najaran Z 等,在2013年癌症醫學研究發現,胡椒薄荷精油對化療誘發的噁心和嘔症狀有相關的研究。
